Its difficult to accept that Andy is no longer with us. I sat next to him many times in the last few years. We would talk about baking, the gorgeous Sussex countryside and what the best biscuits are - chocolate covered only and not boring old custard creams or bourbons according to Andy! We would also ponder how many biscuits should be eaten in one serving! He was often quiet but extremely knowledgeable. The last time I spoke to him, he was very happy to help me and take an issue of my hands. I am sorry we never got to meet up in Petworth for your home made lemon drizzle as we talked about.
