I was very saddened and shocked to hear about Andy. I spoke with Andy only days beforehand about US election and he was in his usual good form. Andy was a part of the BBC family, regardless of the challenge or difficulty faced with a TV system Andy was calm, considered and always had an answer or solution that immediately lifted the weight. To Andy's family please accept my deepest condolences. I will miss Andy very much. Charlie
